New York City
travel guide
Everyone should visit New York once in their life & if you’re brave enough, maybe even call it home. I called it my home for two very amusing years, 2019 pre-pandemic and 2021 post-pandemic. before then, I would regularly visit my best friend Kat and natural new yorkina since 2007. this city has seen some supremely harsh seasons, however its charming spirit never fades. every corner has character, something is always happening and I would be very surprised if you ever found yourself bored here.
It’s best to visit in the early fall (sept.-nov.), holiday season (dec.) and/or early spring (march-may). The magic of fall shows itself off the best in central park. the changing leaves & crisp breeze give you every excuse to wear a stylish coat and matching gloves. The winter season is also a great time to visit all the amazing museums.
During the Christmas season, you have to see the Rockettes do their iconic high-kick, then the whimsical window fashion displays at Bergdorfs, the bright lights of 5th ave, & the giant lit up Rockefeller tree. Fast forward to sweet spring where the tulips magically bloom everywhere in the city. The sun is out for you to plan a playful park picnic, rent a citibike for more exploring, or catch the sunset on a rooftop bar with a little bubbly.
